Upset stomach for over 3 weeks

Hello

I have had a really upset stomach, awful pain and on toilet a few times a day with diarrhoea, at first I thought had a stomach bug! Never had anything like this before, I did have a doctors apt booked - I cancelled as for 2 days it got better but then came on again!
I'm going to make another doctors apt today but does anyone know why this is happening? 😫 xx

Sounds a bit like when I had cryptosporidium. I'd have violent symptoms, stop eating, the parasite would then multiply but the symptoms would stop, I'd try and eat normally, symptoms returned and so on in a cycle. I had to submit a stool sample to be diagnosed. There's no treatment other than keep eating and flush the buggers out your system. Are you in an area where the water has been affected? Even if not could still be it. Never did work out where I picked it up.

This actually came on in Dubai! So maybe I picked it up from there! Xx
