I had a diagnosis of this based on symptoms and appearance around five years ago and was given steroid cream to treat it. I do use this but it never really goes away and the last two or three years all the itching has been concentrated around a small sore which never really heals. But maybe it doesn’t heal
because it is itchy. I don’t know really.
Do you think I need to go back? I’m early 40s so I think my risk is probably low.
I don’t want to make a fuss when it’s probably fine but I don’t know. My hip bone has started to hurt most of the time and I’ve just had a friend diagnosed with terminal cancer so it’s sort of made me worry a bit.
