Quick short term fix for exhaustion

sunflowerfan · 16/06/2024 13:43

Exhaustion is an exaggeration but I'm sooo tired.
Had a difficult few weeks with family health issues as well as some of my own.
I know that my life and health need a complete overhaul but any recommendations for anything that will make a difference in the short term?
I'm thinking Berocca and ridiculously early nights but any other suggestions gratefully received.

I get Vitamin B12 shots when I’m really flagging. Give me a boost

More sleep for sure, if you can. Are you eating regularly and plenty of protein, fruit, veg? Glucose tablets if you need a quick boost.

Sleep. Berocca. Vit D. Plenty of fresh air and sunshine (ha!). Lots of water.

Sleep! Drink more water. Is this a new problem or gradual? Have you been checked for anaemia or other issues like thyroid, diabetes or Vit D deficiency. None are a quick fix, but if you are severely anaemic, a iron infusion is quicker than the 3mths it takes to recover fully via iron meds.

Thanks all.
Don't think there is any particular underlying cause like thyroid or anaemia.
Being overweight, menopausal and stressed are the main factors.
Meals are reasonably healthy but too many sugary things in between or when in a rush.
Hoping to try and concentrate on myself now even when things going on around me go haywire otherwise I'm always waiting for things to settle down.
