Wondering if any MNers are familiar with the Canadian health care system and/or breast cancer diagnosis protocols.
Just heard from a dear friend in Canada that her mammo was followed by a tomosynthesis and that they will only tell her the results in a Facetime-type convo, not an ordinary phone call or letter.
To me, that sounds ominous. Her mother died of breast cancer and there's a lot of cancer in the family.
Wondering if anyone knows if the diagnostic and informing procedure here is necessarily worrying, or if there's a chance that it could be negative and they just don't communicate that way.
Many thanks.
