Does this burn look ok?

One week old burn. At first it blistered then a green covering developed.
Accidentally got it wet and a small amount of green thick pus came out.
Am I right in thinking it’s not infected ? It’s just my body healing .

How big is it? On what part of the body? What caused it?

Generally green is not a good colour.

I think it is a bit infected. But it looks OK and as if on the mend. Maybe some antiseptic. IANAD.

Puss is always a sign of infection.

It’s on the hand . Burnt by grill .

If it's infected, it will feel hot and the area around it will start to redden.

If you keep that clean and lightly covered, it looks like it will be okay.

I think you could probably get treatment at a pharmacy. You need something to clean it out and dress it to help drain the gunk and promote healing.

The green stuff has gone now
a lovely scab is forming . Thank you all .
