Low White Blood Cell Count

Hi all,

Since blood tests in January my white blood cell count has been low. I didn't know until last week as I hadn't been told until a GP appointment last week for an unrelated issue.
They did a repeat blood test and they are still low, slightly low they said if that makes a difference and I have to have a repeat blood test this week to recheck.
I'm really starting to worry about possible causes, I have had anorexia and currently in recovery from it so I'm hoping it's just related to that. But I'm starting to worry about cancer and all sorts.

I’ve had a low white blood count for years.
Never sure exactly why and my GP isn’t concerned either but I do stress about it (I have awful health anxiety).

I have had years of anaemia due to gynae issues and have recently been diagnosed with endometriosis so not sure if that has anything to do with it?

I have also suffered with IBS for 26 years and have read poor eating can affect things (I have a very basic diet for fear of triggering symptoms). I too have a history of an eating disorder so maybe your anorexia has some input.

The very best thing to do is to not google, it will always throw out worst case scenarios.
