4 year old kidney cyst - Any positive stories or experience?

My 4 year old had an ultrasound today as he's been suffering from constipation and tummy pains. The sonographer told me at the end that she had noticed a small straightforward cyst on one of his kidneys which she was going to show the radiographer and refer back to my GP for further tests. She said she it's common in adults but much less so in children but wasn't overly worried. I am terrified after reading Google. I suffer from severe health anxiety so this is my worst nightmare and I am so fearful for my little boy.
Does anyone have any experience of this? I would be so grateful for any replies.
Thank you xx

Just jumping on to say I hope you are ok and bumping this for you. I have just been diagnosed with one today after a ct scan and was told it was of no concern at all (37, female). Apparently they are common but it still made me panic! 😫

They even showed it to a urologist who informed them no follow up was necessary as they are so commonplace. I hope your little one is ok and that you get some much needed reassurance soon x
