Woke up from a nap, sat up and hot cold arms. Low blood sugar?

Never had that before it was pretty full on and continued for 5 minutes. Then my whole chest was soaking in sweat. I was a bit shaky and all I could think to do was eat anything in the cupboards.

I've recently had a mental health crisis and in all my years haven't had anything like this.

Definitely had dizziness and shakes before and felt starving but not the very weird hot and cold arms at the same time. Sort of prickly feeling.

My bloods tests came back yesterday funnily enough and nothing flagged up. Serum ferritin and folate low tho.

I'm 50's.

Was this a random hypo?

Just felt really really odd.

I’d suggest it’s low ferritin, along with peri menopause.
I had tingling arms with low ferritin, along with palpitations and other symptoms.

That's really helpful thank you.

I'm still on pop pill continuously but have to stop that soon.

I saw my ferritin level was right near the bottom so I'm assuming I'd better start religiously taking something.

B12 is pretty good but I did have a deficiency 2 yrs back and had some injections but I can absorb.

Iron supplement and folic acid (B9?)

I was on ferrous Fumarate for low ferritin, and yes take it religiously.
