Last week I had a sore throat on one side for a couple of days then it went. It returned on Sunday and one side of my throat is painful when I swallow, my gland is swollen on that side and I have a slight ear ache and feel a little tired but nothing major.
I spoke to My GP today on the phone and he has said if no improvement in 24 hours then I'm to collect a prescription for antibiotics. Whilst having the consultation I sent him a picture of my throat. He freaked me a little because he mentioned quinsy but other than the sore throat I've been able to manage going to work and everything else as normal.
Sorry for the gross pics. Does this look like anything to be worried about or is it just some kind of throat infection.
