i have never enjoyed bug busting so much. those other combs are naff naff naff. have just removed hundreds (literally!) of eggs from dd2 hair, and over twenty live live. i cant actually see much in her hair as its so thick, and a nightmare. dd1+3 didnt have many, but still rmeoved a fair bit.

serves me right for not checking over easter really.

back to daily combing again i guess

i really like bug busting too, it's so satisfying seeing them squirm on the paper

I know.I almost will my kids to have another infestation so that I can get it out.

RBH · 07/04/2008 19:41

They sell a nitty gritty preventative spray too. Don't know how effective it really is but my friend swears by it so I bought some. We now use the comb once a week and the spray whenever we go out (well when I remember!) and have yet to have another outbreak.

Probably just jinxed myself by typing this!

I have just done my kids hair, with the nittygritty comb. I love popping them with my nail....

sphil · 07/04/2008 20:15

Do you reckon it's enough to comb them twice a week once they're clear?

misdee · 07/04/2008 20:21

once they are clear i comb through once/twice a week.
