I have been taking various medications and combinations of meds for hypertension for years. I am presently on a combination of Amlodipine, candesartan and atenolol. I was just wondering if anyone had experienced side effects especially from atenolol. I know that there was a report out about it ages ago (before I was taking it so I didn't really take much notice) I was wondering about weight gain also as I know that atenolol slows down heart rate and metabolism. hoping anyone can shed some light and experiences!
