Visual disturbance - migraine ?

I came in from work today from bright sunshine to a darkish hall so a great contrast. For about 10 minutes I had a sort of visual disturbance in peripheral vision and couldn't focus well on text, like I was looking through warped glass and it was distorted. Now have a bit of a headache. Does this sound like a migraine ? Last had eyes checked a month ago.

Definitely sounds like migraine. I frequently get this when I have been in bright light-even light shining through the window and catching me in the eye can set it off. Is this the first one you have had?

Have occasionally had a migraine before , more usually pmt related but do seem sensitive to such bright sunlight.
