Can you buy anything over the counter for high blood pressure?

Well, other than homeopathy, because I'm not going to waste money on that. I know I will have to go to the GP and probably go back on the wretched beta blockers but I would like to have a whole cigarette-free and minimal-alcohol week before doing so.
I have vague memories of some vitamins being helpful but can't think which ones. ANyone any kideas?

no you can't but say you don't want beta blockers as there more more effective products available that have minimal side effects e.g. ACE inhibitors, ARBs, your GP will know the blurb.... Beta blockers are notorious for shitty side-effects and no-one deserves them, They are cheap cheap cheap and that's why they get prescribed.

BBlockers not really first line for Bp anymore really lots of other choices. Agree with nutellalover...see your GP.
