Has anyone had it done recently?
I am booked in for an appointment next week and was wondering if anyone had a rough estimate on price etc and whether they felt it was worth it?
Thanks!

How old are you? I had it done at about 22ish and it only lasted two years, as my eyes were still changing.

@FTMFML how old are you, what’s your prescription and as the PP said, is it stable.

It’s really dependent on your prescription and the type of surgery, but I had mine done in November last year at Optical Express and my only regret is not doing it sooner!

I've just been quoted £4,700 and my prescription is -4.25. I believe the price is tied to the strength of your prescription, although it shouldn't be as the procedure isn't anymore difficult or costly for them than it would be for a weaker prescription. Bit cheeky of them and I'm looking at options elsewhere.

Avoid the high street places, if you want it done go to the private wing of somewhere like Moorfields.
