Stabbing pain in left nipple

Sorenips11 · 08/06/2024 16:39

For the past week or so I have had a weird stabbing pain in my left nipple. I feel it more when laying down, it feels like someone's inserted a sharp pin up there. It's coincided with sore breasts anyway from my period. Should I get it checked out or is it a common symptom of periods?

For background I have never had sore breasts, bloating, cramps, pms, or any symptoms around my period until perimenopause hit, so this is all new to me.

I get it as well. I just put it down to another symptom of peri. Along with the random crime scene periods.

I get pain like this periodically, it's a strange thing to say but I've noticed it's when I eat too much sugar

Fucking yes! Random crime scene periods is the best description I've ever heard. Oh, the joys of being a woman.

Well it sounds like it's not a common symptom for you, when having a period (unless you've only recently started having them). Get it checked out with your GP.
