White finger. Why?

I was in the supermarket this afternoon when I got a migraine. I always get an aura and then a headache if I don't take anything quickly. I bought some painkillers and as I went to the till with them my index finger went completely white at the tip and was numb with pins and needles. It went back to normal after 10 minutes.

It has happened before but with all the fingers on one hand. Why did this happen? It's so weird!

Migraine and Raynaud's are linked to vasospasm (constriction of the blood vessels). Worth a chat with your GP to see if any medication might be necessary

I agree it's Raynauds. I have it too. I only get it when I'm cold though, not when I have a migraine. However, both conditions are related to blood vessels so I'd definitely see a doctor.

Thanks all. I did think Raynaud's but it's only ever happened twice and neither time I have been particularly cold.

I get this but with toes. Affected toes also are kind of numb. My hands and feet are always cold. Could this be reynauds too?

If it constricts blood vessels could this give you high blood pressure?

Yes @Lucy Long Socks sounds like Raynauds.

I don't think it's anything about blood pressure @Lucy Long Socks as mine is super super low and I get it quite badly.

I also get it sometimes when stressed, not just when cold.
