HELP! -anyh suggestions for a nice present I can get for friend ion hospital after hysterectomy?

am going to see her this evening - have already sent in loads of magazines with her partner and hospital has a no flowers policy.

She is 37 and quite funky and down to earth.

Thanks - am at a loss what to get!

Fake flowers might be ok.

Fruit, chocolates, home made biscuits.

Tapes of favourite radio shows (not cheap though!) Does she have an ipod/radio?

Some nice smellies? Silly slippers?

I could put some comedy things on my ipod and take that in to leave with her - what do you think?

Don't make her laugh! She will be sore and laughing might make it worse. What about just some of her fav music on the iPod

I only mention that because when my mum had her hysterectomy she was listening to a omedy show on the radio and had to switch it off. [wince]

oh okay that is a good point. I have atonement from the library - I could put that on it. that is not funny at all!
