Patient access help!!

So my dad's gp said he needs to move to online prescriptions they gave him a letter explaining what to do. I set up an app on my phone called patient access, used a code they gave to link to his gp then all his details were on the app and I could order his prescriptions.

Worked fine until I logged into my NHS online to check something. Now if I login to patient access it has my dad's name but my gp and prescriptions.

I've tried logging out and back in but it is still the same. It's the same email for both accounts but different passwords., yet it still has this combination of dad's details but my gp/prescriptions.

I've tried messaging patient access but no response. Any idea how I can resolve this. ? I'm trying not to involve my dad as he only did it in the first place because his gp told him to.

He's really wary of giving out details so won't let me have his nhs details (although I obviously had them previously) but he wants me to resolve this!

Can you get in touch with your GP surgery and ask them to set it up their end. I have the NHS app and I can order my son's prescriptions on my app as well as my own. They set it up so that my son was on my account.

Also having issues with the ap as it only shows me medications not any other results or organ donation etc - friend showed me hers and there's a huge list of topics, mine has meds and nothing else. Been emailing between the app and GP and no one has fixed it in the 2 weeks I've been asking. Also went in and asked at reception who emailed the lady who apparently is in charge of opening it up (from summary apparently), that was on Monday and nothing has changed. IME you have to go in to get anything done. I managed to finally see my blood test from last month today which showed they've not given me meds for hyperthyroidism - would never have known if I hadn't asked the nurse for them this morning!

We are with different surgeries so dads surgery won't talk to me. I think I will have to cancel the account and start from scratch if my dad will let me.

He is convinced I've broken it and can't be trusted now 😳

You need to use separate emails for the separate accounts. Log on to your account and change the email address to another one.
