Under breast thrush

Hi all,

Hoping someone can help.

I have been suffering with under breast thrush for the last couple of months but have only just started to treat it. I was advised to try fucibet and canesten cream together, 1 thin layer each 2-3 times a day. I have been doing this for the last 2 weeks but honestly can't see a difference.

It's not sore, doesn't itch/burn or anything like that (never has) but the rash doesn't seem to be going down. It's just red and looks scaly. Is there anything else that I can try? I know there are tablets but I'm not sure if that's just for vaginal thrush and can't see any info online.

I'm not currently registered with a GP as I've just moved house, but happy to pay/buy over the counter (probably easier than trying to get an appointment anyway).

If anyone can advise it would be greatly appreciated.

For nipple thrush daktarin is better than canesten so not sure if that’s the case for under breast.
You also need to wash bras at a hot temp.

I get this quite alot being a big chested lady. After I've washed and dried it I always lit loads of sudocrem on it and honestly it does the trick!

And yes fluconazole is the medicine for it. I think you need a prescription but there may be a way of getting that online

You can buy fluconazole over the counter at pharmacies.
