Vancomycin experience’s please

I am currently on the above antibiotic for the second time in 6 months for c diff.

At this point I am really not sure if I feel so unwell because of the tablets or the c diff!

Please could you share your experiences (also of c diff if you have suffered from it!)

I know this is an old post but did you manage to get rid of C Diff or did it return again? I’m currently in hospital with C Diff and am being treated with Vancomycin.

That’s great to hear that it hasn’t returned. I’m in hospital since last Thursday. I had a stoma reversal in October and I have been plagued with infections ever since. C Diff has been the worst so far though.

Hi @Bringonthesunforthewashing I’ve improved thanks. I’m in hospital until Monday as I have to complete the course of antibiotics. I just hope I don’t have a recurrence!

So pleased you are on the mend. I hope you are okay in there and not too bored - you will be home before you know it and back in your own bed x
