Just eaten half of this muller chocolate/caramel yogurt and then realised it had mould in (see top right). I’m so worried now that i’m going to get food poisoning and i’m going on a long haul flight tomorrow 🙁. Expiry date wasnt for another week so not sure what’s happened. Anyone done similar and been ok?

You will likely be fine. The digestive juices would deal with it for the majority of people. DM still cuts mouldy bits off cheese & eats the rest, despite the fact I’ve told her the mould would go deeper, she also scrapes the mould off jam. Makes me feel ill just thinking about it, but she’s always fine.

I did the exact same thing last year, also funnily enough a day before going on holiday! I was having visions of ending up in a Spanish hospital with food poisoning but all was fine, no ill effects whatsoever. Your digestive juices will kill it off

I’ve accidentally eaten some Yeo yoghurt recently before I realised mould had started to grow.

I was perfectly ok.

I wouldn’t recommend it, but I wasn’t overly worried.
