Dentist advice

My dh recently had some teeth removed and he has had three false teeth made by his dentist. Now his front (false) teeth are shorter and than they used to be, they are actually shorter than the teeth to the side. The colour also doesn’t match, they are noticeably grey. What rights does he have to get these remade?

If they are immediate teeth, fitted as teeth come out or shortly afterwards, then as the gums heal and shrink so will the dentures. These sort of dentures are best thought of as intermediate dentures as another set will have to be made and paid for when healing has finished.
On the NHS there is a limited choice of colours and matching on the eventual set will not be as good as a private set where there is a much greater range of teeth shapes and colours available.

Thanks, that’s helpful. We weren’t thinking of them as temporary but it makes sense now that the gum will change and take time to settle. Might look to private the next time to get a better colour match.

thanks again
