Headache + eye pain every day

Hello,

I'm going to make an appointment this coming week, however I was just wondering if anyone else has had any experience of this?

I keep getting headaches on a daily basis. I'm also feeling the pain behind my right eye.

As I said, I will see the GP but any idea as to what it could be?

Thanks

Sounds like Migraine. Pain around one eye is a fairly classical presentation. Migraines can last for days.

Thought I'd update just incase.

So I realised today that the pain is in the back of both my eyes not just my right one. Anyways, I saw the GP and was told it's a tension headache.

She was very vague and said to take paracetamol. Anyone had any experience with tension headaches? What caused them and how did it get better?

I would book an eye test and tell the optician

My partner had this, eye pain, watering eyes and a constant headache, turns out his eye pressure was far too high. Hes
now on eye drops which has reduced the pressure - his headache etc has all byt
vanished.

Book an eye test at the opticians. It could be a variety of things including glaucoma, a pressure test will help give an idea if it’s something going on with your eyes as opposed to a tension headache.

Hope you feel better soon.

I get this when I stop using eye drops - have chronic dry eyes

Hi is it very painful ? I use sumatriptan on prescription

i think you should check glaucoma issues to be on the safe side.
best of luck!
