I was wondering if anyone can help me understand what the white smudges are on my daughter’s retinal image?
I have managed to get hold of a copy of her notes, due to an ongoing issue of her not being believed re visual acuity difficultly (have another thread about that). No one has ever mentioned the photos as an issue - in 2021 they recorded ‘watery blurry image’. Then when it was repeated in 2023, they said the results were ‘remarkable’ and made a referral to ophthalmology. Although the referral was for her fluctuating vision they mentioned the retinal images in it. She has had a repeat test at the hospital and they said her eyes were perfectly healthy. So assuming it’s not the cause of her difficulties.
I am just curious to what it is though, for my own understanding. If anyone can shed light.
