Lump in armpit

Have had a lump for the past four months hoping that it would go down, but it's becoming more noticeable. I rang the dr this morning and they have advised all appointments taken and to ring again tomorrow. Concerned due to my mother having breast cancer in her 40s and subsequently died. Can anyone advise?

Definitely worth checking out so I’d try again tomorrow. They will likely refer you on which is protocol. So sorry about your mum. It’s hopefully nothing, could easily be a cyst or something x

I have a very similar looking armpit lump, I was referred immediately and seen in 6 days, it is a totally harmless muscular lump, most likely from an old horse riding injury.
So just to reassure not all lumps are bad, definitely should be seen though.
