Post nasal drip?

For the last couple of weeks or so, I've had phlegm/mucus in my mouth and throat. I don't have a cough so it's not coming from my chest but am prone to sinus issues. But otoh I've not experienced this before so am not sure what's going on.

Any ideas?

I sympathise as have had lots of problems. Presumably you have been taking decongestants? If not, see the pharmacist. If you've had problems before you'll know when it's an infection or not by the taste. If not there's no point seeing the GP.

It could be an allergy so it might worth trying some oral antihistamines.

Have you'd tried steaming? You can get steam cups cheaply from Home Bargains and the like and then use a few drops of essential oil like Eucalyptus.

In the interim try a very hot, steamy shower. Ice packs/cold packs are also good if your face hurts.

I found cleaning out the sinus with a saline spray several times a day worked best
