Gall bladder...maybe?

For years I've been anaemic, had an endoscopy but no ulcers found. The GP put it down to my periods, despite me saying my periods are light etc. 4 years later I'm still having iron infusions every 6 months at the hospital.

Two weeks ago I had a takeaway curry that triggered gnawing pain in my upper right tummy. Also for years I've had a spot in the same place which I thought was a muscle going into a painful spasm...I'm now beginning to wonder since this curry if it's my gall bladder? I can't eat cheese/chocolate/alcohol with this gnawing pain and on/off high temps now- I feel bloated, the pain has spread across into left side, back and chest pain. Indigestion etc.

Maybe this spasm in my tummy is my gallbladder and back drop to the anemia. Any experiences? I'm seeing the GP this week. Thanks.

It's possible. I had my gallbladder removed last year and had pain where you describe.
I had to push for an ultrasound scan though.

Sounds like it might be. I used to get it a lot before getting mine removed. Doctor told me to take Buscopen (which is for IBS), it really helps with the cramps.

Make sure you push for a scan, it'll rule it out if not.
