Gallstones IBS link

I had a gallstone removed from my bile duct last year via ercp. I had no symptoms and it got picked up by blood test for something else.

Since ercp about eight months ago. I've had much more bloating and nausea symptoms in my lower belly. So not right side which is typically associated with with GB. I am much more gassy and my poop is more loose but not upset.

Almost IBS symptoms. But never had before the gallstones.

Could the two be linked. Symptoms come and go.

I have bile acid malabsorption [ BAM ] caused through having my gall bladder removed.
Mine was diagnosed with a SEHCAT scan after many years of IBS symptoms. I am now on "binders" which help with the symptoms.

It is probably worth speaking to your GP about it.
