Had a tooth out midweek, soft diet has been absolutely joyless since then. Someone tell me I’m safe to have a drink on this sunny Saturday evening! Online advice seems to range between 24 hours and 10 days!

You'll be fine. (Dentist).

Pretty sure I had a drink after 24 hours.

I'd be surprised if I hadn't!

Good luck OP it does get better

We always told people 24hrs. Gives time for it to clot. Alcohol acts as a blood thinner. Unless you’re more susceptible to excessive bleeding I’d say you’re absolutely fine to have a drink.
