Sleep apnoea

I'm thinking of asking for a referral about this. Snoring, DH getting waken up by it, menopause also, tired in the day and headache etc

GP did Epworth scale recently and was only 4 but Fitbit says average oxygen 94-95% which seems a bit low? Any advice welcome.

If they will refer you I would go for it.

I was properly diagnosed in the NHS sleep service in 2021 and I haven't looked back. I have a CPAP machine and it has changed my life quite literally.

They also solved my insomnia by identifying the ADs I was on as the cause.

I'm on ADs as well, also awaiting memory clinic referral. Well, a GP is going to ring me in the morning about it, so that is positive I think.

Well spoke to the GP who then asked me in for some checks, found crackles on bases of both lungs and sending for an x ray.

:-( Oxygen a bit low 96-97 but has been 95% on average with Fitbit, although the GP said that might not be that accurate.

I need to lose weight (BMI 37).

Recommended asking about a mandibular device, given a trial of beconase, having sprironometry and the x ray and a referral to sleep clinic / sleep studies.
