Can anyone who has had their gallbladder out advise when they got back to exercise please? I usually do a circuit type routine switching between cardio machines and weights/resistance etc e.g rowing machine, kettlebells, squats, pulldowns

Thanks

Everyone responds/ heals differently. I think the recommendation is not to do any heavy lifting for 6 weeks.
If you have keyhole surgery, although the surface wounds are small and heal quickly, you've still had your innards shoved around and it takes longer internally to heal.

I was quite poorly afterwards though and didn't lift anything heavier than a watering can for 2 weeks and couldn't walk properly for 5 days.
Other people will tell you they were back at work and running within a week.
Listen to what your doctor tells you and how your own body feels
