Right sided lower abdominal pain

Hi, just looking for some thoughts and experiences.... I've been to the GP and have been referred for GI investigation.

I've got pain in my lower right abdomen, it is very localized to one spot and feels a bit like someone is twisting a skewer in me. It seems to be worse in the morning and when I'm sitting down, it is painful when I bend e.g. to pick something up off the floor or if I raise my leg e.g. to put my wellies on. Blood tests show that my ESR is 42 and my CRP is 14 (increased from 3 weeks before). I have PCOS and previous ultrasound scans haven't shown anything other than a thickened uterine lining which was biopsied as ok. I am overweight.

The pain is getting slowly worse and persistent - it isn't horrendous but is there most of the time and quite wearing. Has anyone had similar or have any ideas what it could be?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @MarnieMooMoo did you ever get an answer for your pain? I've got similar (except left side) and not any closer to finding out what it is!
Hope all is well with you now x
