I think this is probably a bit of a niche injury as I can’t find that much about it online from UK sites, but has anyone here had this or know someone who has?
My husband is in this situation currently. It’s a long story over the past couple of weeks involving loss of feeling in leg, two nights in hospital, a great deal of pain and difficulty. He’s been referred to a team at the hospital- we’re not sure which one- but are aware that could take a while to happen. Husband is chasing it up and pushing, but wondering whether to go private and try a steroid injection in the meantime. We’re both worried about the loss of feeling in his foot and the pain in his leg, and he’s really not able to function properly at the moment as he can’t stand for more than a minute or two, and can’t sit at all.
If anyone has any knowledge or experience they can share, I’d be so grateful.
