Lymecycline help

I’ve been on Lymecycline for two months now and have seen a good improvement in my skin. However I do get bad bloating and constipation on them. I’m due to go on holiday in two weeks and they say to be careful in the sun however, I’m going to Turkey with the aim of being in the sun! I can’t find any information relating to it online other than these tablets can make your skin more sensitive to sun exposure. Should I stop taking them for the week I’m away?

When ds took them he was told that sun could cause issues with sensitivity rash and itching/burn for up to 2 months after stopping them. Can you call derm and speak to them or your GP if they were issued there?

I never stopped taking them before going anywhere hot and sunny. Just be meticulous with sun cream and spend some time in the shade. I never had any rashes.

My teen daughter was on it but we stopped it a week before going in the sun and actually the sun in itself helped a lot.
