Hi, can you guys recommend anything to reduce bloating?
I've tried Buscopan, Colpermin and peppermint tea, none have helped.

Do you have other digestive issues or just the bloating? Is the bloating continuous or at a particular time of day. I bloat terribly in the evenings and can look 7 months pregnant.

I ask this as I’ve had IBS for decades and it’s only been in the last 5 or 6 years that I’ve struggled with terrible bloating. Turns out I have SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) and endometriosis as well as the IBS.

I also have a history of ovarian cysts which also cause bloating. It may be worth asking for a CA-125 blood test if your bloating is all the time.

If it’s just bloating and you have no other health issues I find simethicone helps and so do charcoal tablets.

Also many foods can cause bloating, the low fodmap diet helps a lot with that.

I do have IBS, mostly ok, certain food cause a flare up such as cauliflower and bran flakes. Bloating can happen anytime of the day but tends to be worse in the evening.
I did read about charcoal tablets but heard it can impact the contraceptive pill

Try symprove, really helped me and I suspect I have IBS (not formally diagnosed though)

Thank you I'll take a look for that
