Anyone know what this could be?

I had sinusitus in february and havent felt right since. I sound like i have a cold but i dont. I have a bad cough and green phlem (sorry) and i have put a bit of weight on.The main problem is my cough, it sounds like im a heavy smoker, i dont smoke at all. Doctor has referred me for a chest x ray and a full blood count. He has also asked me to use a peak flow meter for 2 weeks and write down the reading.He said it might be mild ashma following the viral infection of sinusitus. What else could it be?

cough and phlem sound like chest infection - could be asthma related. Could be that antibiotics will clear it up, or could be that you need to use a preventer to keep asthma at bay. putting weight on could just be due to being tired with coughing all the time and therefore not getting as much exercise as normal.

or just stuffing my face full of the kids easter eggs!
