So, after struggling with Anxiety for months I finally decided to start the 10mg Citalopram I was prescribed months ago,
I did take this about 10 years ago for a while so was aware of start up symptoms.
I'm on day 3 and have the common side effects - nausea, tiredness , tingling in hands but today from waking have had urinary frequency/ urgency and some odd painful urination. My first thought was UTI and I do get these but it doesn't feel like one- pee is like water and I've dipsticked it myself and it's not showing start of infection.
So- has anyone else had this with Citalopram ? Urinary issues are listed on the uncommon side effects list but just wondered how common it actually is ?
After today I feel like stopping it 😔
