I've caught it off my toddler! I feel awful . How long does it last in an adult?

Hello, I can see this is a few weeks ago now. I just wondered if you've recovered. I've had it for 10 days and I feel awful. Achey joints, low grade fever and so, so tired. I'm scared I'm not going to get better!

How are you now AcidZumba? I’ve just come down with it, fever end of last week and now dreadful joint pain in hips, knees and feet. Just want to believe it will suddenly lift and leave me able to function normally again!

Sorry for the delay in replying. I've been absolutely fatigued for about 5 weeks now. I'm not completely sure it's only the slapped cheek- it's possible I've had other viruses too. My kids seem to be catching all sorts at the moment. My joint pain seems to be nearly gone. I spoke to the GP on Friday and she said you can feel very rough indeed if you catch it as an adult, and it can take 6 to 8 weeks to clear. Hope you're feeling a bit better?

Hello sorry. Yes I felt 100% better at the start of last week.
