Any shoulder injuries lately? That can cause pains in the chest area

hi thanks for your comment i have been lifting my very heavy toddler who is now two and a half for a long time on the left side of my body (i stopped 6 weeks ago now i originally thought it was that but it's been going on for so long and why would it cause a pinching feeling in my heart and my back and sometimes down my arm

I'm not a doc, but if you've been lifting the baby you could have strained the cartilage in your breastbone and caused something called costochondritis, which can feel like the chest pain of a heart attack. Try a little ibuprofen gel on it.
The pain down your arm could be from pressure on a disc in your upper back (thorax).
Sounds like it would help you to find ways of managing the baby that are less physically stressful.

A lot of pain in that area is often not cardiac-related.

It's not your heart, then. It's your upper back and shoulders from being lopsided with a substantial weight for so long. The side you used to carry DC needs to be lengthened and stretched and both sides and core strengthened.
