My daughter is 16 and has used steroid creams a few times over the years for her face flare ups. Sadly this time it comes back but worse as soon as she stops using . My heart is breaking for her as she has just started her exams. Anyone else had this withdrawal issue !!! Any advise . Feel helpless !!!! Dermatologist say yo keep using but Im so anxious as it it is making it worse. Thanks x

What kind of flare ups? Ie flare ups of what?

Go back to GP/derm and ask about non steroid treatment for her face eczema. Elidel cream is one, but there are a few different ones. Hopefully that helps!

Well she gets dry and red patches on her face. Normally if she has worm make up or had her nails done . We just thought she had very sensitive skin . But the dermatologist said it’s eczema . So we’ve done two lots of steroid cream but it has come back worse . Thinking it’s a steroid rebound. Just not sure to stop it or do another course of steroid as directed by dermatologist Reading up on steroid withdrawal doesn’t sound good
