Back acne

Hi everyone,
I've had the worst, painful back acne since having my little girl two months ago. I was combined feeding (breast and formula) and I've been exclusively formula feeding for the past month. It flares in blind pimples and whiteheads that will disappear, but come back with 10 more the next day! The blind pimples are the worst bit. I've been prescribed doxycycline today for it, but wondering if it'll start to improve by the time my milk supply is completely dried out? It's drying out but not completely there yet.
If you've experienced this, Is there anything you used to help that didn't break the bank? Thank you! Xx

I have similar, I breast fed until my youngest was 4, and since I got my periods back when she was about age 2, it started. Breastfeeding helped because it stopped my cycle for so long, and its definitely hormonal. I used to get it when my periods came.

So I went onto the mini pill to eliminate my cycle, and although it has done that, sadly it hasn't helped with the spots like the combined pill used to. Ive bought a product called acnecide wash, which I saw recommended. I got it online for about £12 I think. I would say I've seen a small improvement so I'm going to keep using it. Its easy to use as you put it on in the shower.

@fashionqueen0123 thank you so much! I'll definitely buy some as I'm so willing to try anything at this point. I tried a bit of cucumber toner on it last night from l'Occitane and it's calmed the redness a bit so hopefully it'll work! Dreading remembering to take these antibiotics every day though, but fingers crossed every little helps!!
