Help! Colonoscopy - what does a ‘very mobile bowel’ mean?

Had a colonoscopy today and still feeling quite out of it. Was definitely too out of it on sedation, gas and air to understand what the consultant was saying to me at the end!

Looking for some help here…as the procedure was awful!

He said it was so painful/difficult as my bowel is very mobile, which is about 1 in 100 chance in the population. Said he sees someone like me every couple of months.

He took out a couple of polyps for testing but seemed to be saying it all looked ok, but I may have IBS. But said he would recommend colonoscopy every 5 years, rather than the usually recommended 10 for my age group.

What on earth is a mobile bowel?! Is that the reason I need more regular checking up? Can’t find anything useful googling…

Anyone knowledgeable on here who could help please?

Thank you!
