Colonoscopy prep?!

I am having a colonoscopy tomorrow at 8.30am. Took my first prep 12pm (so an hour and 20 mins ago) - NO MOVEMENTS yet??? (is that normal)
Next lot of movirep is at 4pm.
I have put the prep in the fridge, got a straw and added cordial - it’s unbearable it’s making me feel sick.
But it has given me AGONISING stomach pain??? like the absolute worst cramps? But no one has told me this is normal!
Any tips very much appreciated

Which prep is it? There are different sorts.

Oh sorry it's moviprep I see.

It could be, depends if you've got a lot there to break down I guess.

I'd imagine the bad cramps are it working, can't see it doing any actual damage.

I down my prep and then whack in a chewing gum, find the mint really helps with the sicky feeling.

Colonoscopy prep can be brutal.

the pain can be horrific. Gentle pacing near a bathroom will help get things moving. Good luck op

I have had it twice.

First time lots of movements not much pain. second time lots of pain not do many movements.

All sounds normal to me. I had cramps but they did ease once things "got moving".

Thansk everyone!! Still absolutely nothing but the odd cramp now and wind?? i look 7m pregnant 🙃
About to start the next lot of prep now…🤢🤢🤢🤢

@Cantfindthewordsddstruggling it was okay - just about. My prep got graded 8 so did well there.
But the procedure was agony - and i had sedation!! i had a very twisted bowel and it was just awful! Was unbelievably happy for the cup of tea and egg sandwich after haha!
