Humidity and breathing issues - advice?

I'm struggling with the humidity since a pulmonary embolism a few months ago. Anything over about 65% and I am left fighting for breath just going down and up stairs, which makes my neck strain and ache. Today it's 78% and I'm having a 20min break after venturing downstairs to make a tea.

Does anyone have any tips of how to maybe filter the air? I need to go outside a few times each day and sometimes I'm nearly crying because I can't walk for more than 10mins without pause, making my neck hurt so much, trying to drag air in.

I've stopped Apixaban this week (was put in for 3 months), and I am hoping that will somehow make it easier as the days go on? Would that have been having a negative effect by making blood thinner so moisture increased?

Any help would be appreciated.
