Would you take the day off and see the doctor for this?

Since Friday, I have been finding that if I stand still for more than about 30 seconds, my legs and feet feel really heavy, painful and like they are about to explode. I'm fine when I'm moving. My arms also get similar symptoms if the hang still, especially my left arm.
I also have some nerve pain in my lower back and hips. Recently, I have had quite a lot of 'missed beats' and some dizziness, although not at the moment.
My husband wants me to take the day off work and go see the doctor tomorrow, but I'm a teacher and feel that I'm not sure if it's really necessary, especially since I could wait until Thursday when I don't work.
What would you do?

Go to the doctor asap. Prevention is better than cure. You’ve quite a few symptoms and feeling dizzy etc suggests that you shouldn’t be teaching whilst feeling v out of sorts. Good luck and I hope everything goes well for you at the doctors.

I don't know if you should see the doctor, but how do you know it is nerve pain?

If you've had these issues before and know what they are/the doctor has said it's nerve pain then presumably you are on meds?

To be honest, I don't know. I just assumed it is, since it radiates down my bum cheeks and thighs.

In that case you should definitely see a doctor.
