Waiting for neuro appointment

So I’m currently waiting for a routine neurology appointment but given waiting lists this is likely to be months. In the meantime can anyone make sense of all this?

About 6 weeks I developed some on and off cramping in my right calf. Not very painful and exacerbated by getting out of car/off sofa at weird angles. I soon developed twitching in the same area. This has since spread to multiple areas in my body but remains most prevalent in my right calf. I will admit this has made me so anxious as I foolishly googled it. The cramping is still there but more weirdly my whole right leg now feels sort of weak and tight. It’s not clinically weak according to my GP (she did lots of strength tests) and I’d agree as I’ve had no loss of function and balance etc all the same. Just feels so weird and almost disconnected from my body if that makes sense. I’m aware of the weird feeling all the time. I sometimes have an ache running through the whole leg and deep into my hip. I have had on and off pins and needles in my leg and foot too and the pins and needles also go into my right left foot after exercise sometimes.

Have had full set of electrolyte blood tests and thyroid, HbA1c and all perfect. GP didn’t have a clue hence neurology referral.

Any ideas?
