Does it feel like there are more coughs/colds/ fluey type viruses around than usual for Spring?

Most of my immediate and wider family have commented on this. I've had a congested feeling and cough that's dragged on for weeks, others are getting more flue type symptoms with temperature and body aches. None of us are testing positive for covid. We're quite scattered geographically too. SIL is a teacher and said as many kids seem to be off with these symptoms as during the winter months which is unusual. Anyone else?

Yes, I think so.

Yes! we had a pretty healthy autumn and then (bizarrely) no bugs at all through winter or Jan/ early Feb, but since late Feb between the 4 of us have had about five colds, a chest infection, Scarlet fever and pneumonia! It’s driving me absolutely bonkers. I never normally get this many bugs and especially this time of year.

Everyone I know is full of snot, nearby and far away. I'm blaming the crappy weather.
