dizziness/light headed

Hello,

This week I've been struggling with dizziness randomly out of nowhere.

On Monday I experienced it just after eating my lunch, around 1130. It's a light headed type of dizzy as opposed to room spinning. Afterwards I felt slightly nauseous. On Monday tea time I experienced it again whilst eating my tea at about 630 and had to lie down, and also felt nauseous afterwards, and couldn't finish my tea.

On Tuesday I experienced it at tea time again and had to lie down.

Yesterday I became dizzy/light headed whilst at work at about 4:30 and had to lie down briefly. I also felt very nauseous at this point.

Today I felt nauseous on three different occasions, at about 1200 following my lunch, 145 and again at about 600.

I've been avoiding ringing GP all week as didn't feel like it was significant but now I'm starting to worry/its a bit of a pain.

The only other event I can think of that could be related is I had en episode about a month ago where I was very light headed, felt very nauseous, was unable to relax and just generally felt awful. I was on the cusp of asking to go home from work but had a donut and felt better about 20 mins later. So not sure if it's food related? I'm 25

Thank you

Is dizziness the only symptom? No numbness, pins and needles? Could be many things, but best to see GP who can refer if they think is necessary.

Well what do you eat in a typical day?

Are you drinking enough water?

It does sound worth making a GP appointment.

I'd see the GP for this.

Dd had this after eating. I was worried about diabetes etc. but raft of blood tests showed her being slightly anemic and low in Vit D - so she was prescribed high level iron and Vit D tablets which seem to have solved the problem.

I would go get it checked though.

My 14 year old seems to be getting dizzy most of the time when she stands up, she also goes lightheaded sometimes even when sitting. She has had ECG tested for pots but everything is fine. Any ideas?
