High cholesterol

I'm having some blood tests for memory issues and the cholesterol one just came back, had a text from the GPs to say it is raised but just lifestyle changes recommended as my overall cardio risk is low?

Its total 6.6. (non fasting) 2.1 is HDL and the ratio of total to HDL is 3.1. I checked this ratio online and it said it was OK?

Any advice welcome. I'm 47. Thanks

At your age, with a HDL that high, your Qrisk score will be low. Lifestyle changes now will keep it low as you get older.

Yes the Qrisk3 score was low, under 5 anyway, 2 something. Thanks
