Blood test results

I've got a phone appointment tomorrow (requested by GP) to discuss results of a blood test. The results are below - can any mumsnetter give me a bit of a heads up regarding what they mean/indicate, and also any suggested questions that I should ask my GP?

Hb estimation 89 (normal range 115 to 154)
Hematocrit 0.328 (nr 0.350 to 0.480)
Mean Corpuscular Value 69.6 (nr 81.0 to 102.0)
Mean Corpuscular Haemoglobin 18.9 (nr 27 to 34)
Mean Corpuscular Haemoglobin Conc 271 (nr 298 to 340)

Ferritin wasn't measured in the blood test.

I currently take Ferroglobin and a multivitamin & mineral tablet everyday.

Anaemic, most probably iron deficient

Yes, anaemic. They'll want to prescribe you iron tablets to get those levels up, and discuss reasons for it.

(Don't panic, most of the potential reasons are quite common things e.g. heavy periods, diet. But that would be the questions I'd ask - discuss underlying reasons and whether any investigations are needed if there's no obvious cause.)

Agree anaemic, and based on the small size of the red blood cells, extremely likely to be iron deficiency anaemia.
